Steph’s Journal

Excerpts from a student’s journal, written during our Second International Experience.

Stephanie Leal, one of the students on our 2nd Study Trip, wanted to share excerpts from her journal. We thank her for making this available and allowing us to use it on our site.

If I had to describe my experience with Normandy Allies in one word, I would have to say incomparable. Incomparable in more ways than one, more ways than fifty, actually. But that’s not what I’m here to write about. I’d like to let you venture into my notebook, the journal I kept on the trip, and read excerpts of my experiences (the real journal is 44 typed pages). This trip was most definitely the experience of a lifetime.
